Don’t put me in a nursing home

A home that chills me to the bone

For people there…are just buying time

Hanging on life until they all die.

I don’t want to be in a nursing home

A dreadful place for me to call home

For none of you will have the time

To visit me time after time.

Don’t talk to me about nursing home

It’s not a place for me to call home

For no one has ever come out alive

That’s why I want to die in a home I buy.
